Central Florida benefits from a community of philanthropists that believe in and embrace the notion of working together and building something greater. Whether it’s feeding and clothing those in need, healing the broken,  fostering the cultural arts, or building community, donors in Central Florida rally to build up others.

Orlando Business Journal recently released its top charitable organizations in Central Florida, and we are honored to be listed once again among the amazing area nonprofits that do such important work in the community. We congratulate all non-profits for their growth, perseverance, and meaningful service, especially our partner Catholic-based non-profits, Catholic Charities of Central Florida, and Magnify Florida for the remarkable work that they do.

Kimberlee Riley, CAP, President & CEO of the Catholic Foundation shares “What a tremendous honor for us to be recognized. It’s truly our donors and board, our team, and other strategic partners who are to thank for our continued growth. We serve a Catholic community focused on serving all our neighbors and improving the quality of life in Central Florida.”

The Catholic Foundation is a philanthropic and socially screened investment organization that partners with generous donors to improve the quality of life for individuals and families throughout Central Florida, regardless of race or religion. It oversees more than $88.5 million in investments that are managed for growth and are aligned with Catholic social teaching.

As a result, The Catholic Foundation in fiscal 2022 distributed $2 million to support education, people with disabilities, parish and faith life, and charities that provide food, housing, utilities, medical and mental-health assistance throughout Central Florida. The Catholic Foundation’s investing tools include Donor Advised Funds, which are designed to support hundreds of Central Florida and national nonprofits, and a unique Planned Giving Advisory Council which supports our donors in making transformational gifts in the community.

The Orlando Business Journal published the ranking in December 2022. See the full list here >
