The Catholic Foundation inspires giving to fund God’s work throughout the Diocese of Orlando’s nine-county area. Since its founding in 2007, the independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation has helped individuals and organizations engage in philanthropy in a faith-filled way through socially screened investment options and charitable tools. Our donor’s generosity has provided parishes, schools and diocesan ministries the ability to offer faith-formation experiences for children and adults, and necessary renovations and expansions of churches and community centers. These charitable resources foster Catholic School education, prepare seminarians for the priesthood and support retired priests. Additionally, these funds support nonprofit organizations aligned with Catholic social values in providing healthcare, housing and food assistance in the nine counties of the Diocese of Orlando.

The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida’s board of directors has created a new 3-year strategic plan – with a 10-year vision to guide our efforts in a manner that honors the principles and vision of our founding board members and serve our diocesan family today. It is a holistically envisioned plan designed in partnership with Bishop John Noonan, our donors, board members, pastors and staff. Through this partnership, the Foundation has new vision, mission and value statements to guide us through the next decade.
