Approximately 67% of Americans do not have a will or estate plan in place. The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida prepares you for the unexpected by providing several resources.

  • Legacy Events: We offer complimentary events through the Diocese of Orlando ministries. These events focus on different ways to protect your legacy. Our initiatives, such as our Legacy Seminars or Wine & Wills, educate parishioners on creating wills and estate plans. These events also provide access to expert advice to teach parishioners about legacy planning or answer any questions.

If you would like to keep up with or attend one of our events, follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter.

  • Freewill: Our website features a free online tool for creating a will. This user-friendly process can take as little as 20 minutes or expand into a detailed one-hour session. When the document is complete, one can be take it to a lawyer for review or directly to a notary for validation.
  • Planned Giving Advisory Council (PGAC): Our PGAC is a group of experts in charitable giving and estate planning. They are ready to help community members achieve their philanthropic goals. Many of our PGAC members offer a free one-hour consultation to address any questions you may have.

The combination of Freewill and one of our PGAC members allows you to create a valid will within the week.

  • Online Resources: The Foundation provides a wealth of free, online materials to facilitate your understanding of legacy planning. These resources are available at your convenience on our website.

As we continue to educate our community in securing their legacies, we encourage every parishioner to consider the lasting impact of their charitable actions. For more information on our services, please take a look through our website or contact The Catholic Foundation directly.
