We are excited to announce that The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida, through the benefit of our Endowment Fund, is sponsoring the use of the #iGiveCatholic platform on Giving Tuesday, November 29, 2022 for all the parishes, schools, and ministries in the Diocese of Orlando!
Now in its eighth year, #iGiveCatholic celebrates the annual #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. #iGiveCatholic, the U.S. Catholic Church’s Giving Day, kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to give thanks and give back.
In 2021, the campaign through this platform raised more than $16.5 million for 2,600+ participating parishes, schools, and nonprofits from 39 diocese across the country, as well as the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA). You can see the thank-you video from last year here!

WHAT IS #iGIVECATHOLIC?
#iGiveCatholic is a giving day event held on Giving Tuesday for the faithful from participating dioceses across the nation (and the world!) to unite and donate – both online and offline – to their favorite participating Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries. #iGiveCatholic presents an opportunity for Catholics to donate and support the organizations they are most passionate about on #GivingTuesday, and for our parishes, schools, and ministries to raise funds for capital improvements, their annual fund, or another project of their choosing.
WHAT IS #GIVINGTUESDAY?
#GivingTuesday is an annual day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and widely recognized Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping events, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
WHEN IS #iGIVECATHOLIC ON #GIVINGTUESDAY?
This year, #iGiveCatholic is on #GivingTuesday, November 29, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. An Advanced Giving Day phase for #iGiveCatholic begins at 12:00 AM on Monday, November 14 through #GivingTuesday. Credit card or ACH donations are given through the donate button on the profile page for each participating organization within iGiveCatholic.org. Offline donations of cash or check can be mailed or taken directly to the organization of the donor’s choice.
WHAT’S NEW IN 2022?
The #iGiveCatholic Platform will provide you with a customized page showcasing a tailored message to your community along with your logo and an image you select! If you want to go further – you can add a goal, matching gift(s), peer-to-peer fundraisers and so much more! The Catholic Foundation team will be here to assist you and the platform also offers training sessions and chat bubble access to tech support for all #iGiveCatholic participants (and donors!) They also provide access to a dashboard where you can view your financial analytics, donor information and balance your deposits and payouts after Giving Tuesday.
