The motto of Pathways Law, P.A. is “Securing Your Legacy with Thoughtful Estate and Business Planning.” Whether he is assisting with developing an estate plan, or drafting documents for the sale of a business, Cameron works to understand the big picture first before delving into the details. The solution should be designed to meet the full range of clients’ needs, so Cameron assesses all the goals and then can tailor plans to work together to address all the legal concerns cohesively.
He is a native Floridian, raised in Highlands County and Polk County. Although he’s always considered central Florida to be home, he did move to Jacksonville for a time where he earned his business degree from the University of North Florida and law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. That is also where he met his wife and started a family, before returning to this area with our two daughters and dog, Macie.
“When I’m not helping clients, I enjoy taking advantage of what Florida has to offer. I like to play golf, hang out at the beach, and travel to new locations with my wife, Teresa, and my daughters, Hannah and Peyton. I even like to cook–at least a little.”
Faces of Philanthropy Q & A with Cameron White:
Q: What excites you about helping clients make a lasting impact?
A: Watching a client move from ‘what happens to my money’ to ‘what will my money do for the world’ is exactly why we do this work.
Q: Can you share a simple planned giving tool or strategy more people should know about?
A: A simple planned giving tool or strategy more people should know about – beneficiary designation. A client can make a meaningful, lasting gift to The Catholic Foundation without changing their will, hiring an attorney, or giving up a single dollar today, just by updating a beneficiary form.
Q: Is there a Scripture verse or saint that inspires your view on stewardship or legacy?
A: Luke 12:48 – “To whom much is given, much will be required.”
Q: What do you enjoy most about The Catholic Foundation’s work?
A: Unlike large national charities, The Catholic Foundation keeps dollars close to home, supporting local parishes, schools, ministries, and communities. Donors can witness the impact in their own backyard, which makes giving feel tangible and personal.
