Sarah CAP Graduation
Leigh CAP graduation

The Catholic Foundation, with our trusted partners for the Central Florida CAP® Study Group, hosted a breakfast at the Edyth Bush Institute in honor of the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP ®) graduates of 2024.

The American College of Financial Services grants the CAP ® designation to those who complete the three graduate courses. The various courses provided professional advanced training in the best practices regarding estate planning, charitable tax strategies, legacy planning, and much more. The study group cohort brings together multi-sectors and multi-disciplines which can support donors in maximizing their philanthropic impact.

We are blessed to announce two of our team members received their CAP® designations this year, Nia Herald CAP®, CEP, VP-Chief Financial Officer, and Sarah Pinto CFRE, CAP®, Director of Philanthropy. By completing the course, they are more equipped than ever to advise our donors on their philanthropic decisions.

Sarah says the CAP® designation solidifies her credibility as a philanthropy advisor. With a CAP® designation, donors can feel at ease receiving advice from professionals at The Catholic Foundation as our focus is supporting their goals.

“Pursuing the CAP® designation is a decision I wholeheartedly endorse for anyone looking to deepen their expertise in philanthropic planning. It is a worthwhile journey that not only enhances your skills and credibility but also enables you to make a profound impact on the lives of others.” – Sarah Pinto CFRE, CAP®, Director of Philanthropy at CFOCF.

We were honored to provide a partial tuition scholarship and also would like to congratulate Leigh Svajko CAP®, President of the Father Lopez Catholic High School, on receiving her CAP® designation.

Congratulations to this year’s CAP® graduates and thank you to our professionals for continuing to build donor trust. We also wish to thank our partners F4 Wealth Advisors, ShuffieldLowman and Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation.
