Fruits of Charity Banner Image

Thank you for your loving generosity this holiday season!

In this time of reflection and expectation, we express our gratitude to all of our donor community for helping to prepare the way for Christ by helping build His Kingdom. No matter the gift, and no matter the size, your philanthropy demonstrates the love of Christ and sets a strong example of charity for our Central Florida community to follow. Your gift makes a difference – but don’t take only our word for it! The fruits of charity are abundantly expressed in God’s Word.

  1. God’s Reward For Generosity: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” – Luke 6:38
  2. Blessings for the Generous: “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.” – Proverbs 19:17
  3. Assurance of Happiness: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35
  4. God’s Favor for Generosity: “One person gives freely, yet gains even more” – Proverbs 11:24
  5. Securing Treasure in Heaven: “Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.” – Luke 12:33
  6. God’s Provision for the Givers: “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” – Proverbs 22:9
  7. Reflecting God’s Generosity: “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7
  8. Fulfilling the Law of Love: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Mark 12:31

Wishing you Christ’s warmth and joy this year and every year,

The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida
