We look forward to welcoming you to the Wine and Wills event on Tuesday, August 25th, at Bishop Moore Catholic High School, 3901 Edgewater Dr, Orlando 5 pm – 7 pm.
Below are some helpful tips to make the most out of your Wine & Wills experience:
- Gather all your documents (examples: existing will/trust; completed Freewill document; Catholic Declaration on Life and Death, etc.) that you want the attorneys to review.
***Take a look through FreeWill’s Estate Planning Checklist – Ten important documents to get your affairs in order for more details. - Get organized and create a simple will: If you don’t have an existing document, you can get started and create a will for free in as little as 20 minutes using a trusted resource from our partner, Freewill, before attending the event. Click here to get started.
- Write down your questions: In order to maximize your time, we strongly encourage you to have your questions prepared ahead of time to help focus your discussions and have the questions answered efficiently.
- Bring your estate documents to be notarized: Please remember that they CANNOT be pre-signed. A notary WILL NOT notarize anything that is already signed. The signor must be present, with valid identification and a witness, at the time of notarization. (We will have people on site who can serve as a witness, if needed.)
- Bring your ID: Make sure to bring proper identification. Please refer to the list of Acceptable Forms of ID for Notarization.
***Note: Notary service will be limited to documents needed to complete your estate plan, Catholic Declaration on Life and Death, Freewill document, living will, etc. - To learn more about this event, watch this 2-minute video of a previous Wine and Wills event to give you a glimpse of what to expect and hear from one of the attorney’s and a testimony from one of the attendees.
