Resurrection Catholic Church, Lakeland

Robert Kryger is happily married for more than 30 years to his wife Judy, together the parents of four grown sons. They have been parishioners at Resurrection Catholic Church since relocating to Lakeland, FL in 1995. Robert has served on the Parish Finance Committee, Alive in Christ Campaign Committee, & for 18 years was a leader on the Resurrection Catholic School Board. Together, Robert & his wife also managed the Pre-Cana retreats in the Western Deanery of the Orlando Diocese for 15 years, speaking regularly about sexuality, Natural Family Planning, communication & finances.

Professionally, Dr. Kryger is an entrepreneurial scientist, having worked in a variety of technical fields and started several small businesses. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Notre Dame and is currently a Principal at Beck Kryger Capital Partners LLLP, managing a portfolio of investments in real estate, medical devices, specialized packaging, and food products. Dr. Kryger also holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor of Physics at Florida Polytechnic University and teaches part-time. He is extensively published and regularly consults with expertise about flavor chemistry, beverage formulations, food safety, chemical processing, measurement science and applied physics.

Robert has served on numerous professional advisory boards for the USDA, University of Florida, and various scientific societies. He also regularly volunteers as a judge for the State of Florida Science Fair and mentors science students.
