Susan Rae Giacoletto, JD

Susan Rae Giacoletto, JD became a Planned Giving Advisory Council (PGAC) member during this year’s Board Retreat.

The PGAC is a group of experts whose goal is to help the Central Florida community realize their philanthropic goals. Susan was nominated by Wendy Mara, current member of the PGAC and The Catholic Foundation’s Board of Directors.

She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1996 with her bachelor’s degree and went on to receive her law degree from the University of Florida in 1999.

Susan started her law career as an assistant public defender in North Florida.  She then transitioned to private practice where she continued her practice of criminal law as well as expanding into the areas of family law, probate, Wills & Trusts, Guardianship, and Social Security Disability Appeals. Susan then focused her attention on family mediation, mediating over 1500 cases in the last decade.

Susan has been an attorney for over 24 years and a certified family mediator for over 14 years.  She has a proven track record of success. She uses that experience to help her clients down a path to the results they need.

Susan was a long-time member of All Souls Catholic Church when living in Sanford and still serves as Vice President of the conference of St. Vincent de Paul at All Souls.
