October 2018 Dear Friends in Christ, As the seasons change, and autumn soon gives way to winter, The Lord reminds us that his love for us remains steady. All the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, Summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease – Genesis 8:22 Similarly, The Catholic Foundation remains steady in serving you as we transition to a new season: We have entered a new digital season with the launch of our new, mobile friendly website and social media platform. As technology evolves rapidly, we want to ensure that we share the good news in ways that reach more people in our Catholic community. We want to share the good news made possible though partnerships with generous donors like you and pastors in the Diocese of Orlando.
Our new website (www.cfocf.org) is easier to read and makes it easier to donate to your favorite Catholic cause on mobile phones and tablet computers. It also has accessibility tools that can modify the website’s font sizes and color palette, or read website content aloud with the click of a button. Meanwhile, our new social media channels make it easier to: Connect with Us Learning. Serving. The Catholic Foundation was pleased to join with hundreds of nonprofit leaders throughout the U.S. who attended the bbcon 2018 tech conference in Orlando from October 9 to 11 at the Gaylord Palm Springs Resort and Convention Center. The conference hosted dozens of workshops about best practices, including “Bridging Faith and Fundraising with Technology.” In a spirit of partnership, The Foundation sponsored conference registration for a Diocese of Orlando colleague from Bishop Moore High School.
