Hearts of Philanthropy
At The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida, generosity is expressed in various beautiful ways. Some are openly shared to inspire and multiply impact, and others are done through quiet acts of charity. While our Faces of Philanthropy series highlights visible champions, we are excited to introduce Hearts of Philanthropy, to showcase the inspiration of the many faithful hearts working behind the scenes to transform lives, strengthen ministries, and uplift our Catholic community.
Follow along as we share inspiring stories of hidden heroes whose impact resonates far and wide, even when their names remain unknown.
If you would like to contribute to the Church’s fullness of charity by sharing your story, but prefer to remain anonymous, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

Hearts of Philanthropy Q & A with Endowment Fundholders:
Q: What inspired you to create a fund with the Catholic Foundation?
A: An Endowment Fund has been the perfect vehicle for us to accumulate funds in a meaningful way today while planning for the future. Our Fund will provide annual support to the Catholic ministries closest to our hearts during our lifetime. When our planned estate gift is realized, it will bring our vision to fruition by creating a lasting legacy that helps these ministries serve more people, grow their impact, and continue their important work for generations to come.
Q: How does your Catholic faith shape your desire to give beyond your lifetime?
A: The Lord has given us many blessings! We recognize that all these blessings belong to the Lord and as such should be returned to Him to use to fill the needs of others. Using our Endowment Fund, and a planned estate gift, assures us that this happens. We are confident with peace of mind and soul, that our return of these gifts from the Lord, will be honored in the manner we hoped, long after our lives.
Q: How has the Foundation supported your philanthropic goals?
A: The Foundation was so easy to work with and pretty much took our wishes and goals and made them happen. But most of all, we have the comfort of knowing what we’ve returned will be invested, grown and used in the manner we hoped for the selected ministries that closest to our heart.
