Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, I later migrated to the United States at the age of 15, commencing a journey shaped by my Cuban heritage and newfound opportunities. Settling in Miami allowed me to strike a balance between both cultures. Subsequently, I relocated to Orlando to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida, which I obtained in 2021. During my time at UCF, I actively engaged in personal and professional growth, serving as Co-Vice President of Alumni Relations. This role introduced me to donor services, sparking my passion for community development. Eager to expand my skill set, I acquired certifications in Diversity, Communication, and Critical Thinking through the Global Leadership Program.
Post-graduation, I ventured into the marketing realm as a Marketing Specialist, leveraging my expertise to devise impactful marketing strategies, forge community partnerships, and drive organizational growth. Beyond the confines of the workplace, my commitment to leadership and community service thrived, exemplified by my volunteer work with organizations such as Clean the World, where I derive fulfillment from giving back and effecting positive change in others’ lives.
In addition to professional and volunteer pursuits, I’ve been honored for my academic achievements, including membership in Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, induction into the Tau Sigma Academic Honor Society for Transfer Students, and participation in the U-Lead Scholar Academy.
Armed with bilingual communication skills, robust leadership abilities, and an unwavering dedication to effecting positive change, I eagerly anticipate the opportunities that await me.
