Marta Sweeney has served the Diocese of Orlando and four of its Bishops for more than 30 years. Since January 2011, she has served as the Director of Annual Giving for the Catholic Foundation of Central Florida. Since then, the Annual Appeal has grown from $11.5 million to more than $16 million. Additionally, Marta works with parishes in the diocese to help them strengthen their stewardship efforts and maintain or increase their annual offertory giving. She works closely with pastors, staff and volunteers to help parishes maximize their mission advancement efforts.

The Sweeneys are founding members of Most Precious Blood parish in Oviedo, where Marta serves as a lector. She and her husband John have three wonderful sons, two beloved daughters-in-law, and two handsome grandsons – Mason and Duncan.
