Sr. Maria Teresa Acosta, SCTJM  is an author, teacher and retreat leader who offered her life to the Lord in chastity, obedience, and poverty in 1985. She currently serves as Executive Assistant to Most Reverend John G. Noonan Bishop of Orlando and Executive Assistant to Very Reverend John Giel, Vicar General and Chancellor of Canonical Affairs. Sr. Maria was born and baptized in Havana, Cuba. Sr. Maria moved when she was six-years-old to New Jersey, where she spent her childhood and adolescence.
